The past few weeks I’ve been writing about what you can do to help the world. In my previous two articles I wrote about the importance of activating your Quantum Creativity and why being aligned with your Authentic Self is vital, not only for your health, abundance, spiritual connection, Life Purpose and your relationships, but also for the world.
This week I shared with you that Sustainability is crucial to helping the world thrive during this time of massive upheaval. I wrote about how when you are living from a place that is not aligned with your Authentic Self, you waste energy trying to hold on to an identity that isn’t true to Who You Really Are. When you waste your energy that way, it makes it hard for you to act in sustainable ways and make sustainable choices.
The feedback that I got from that post was pretty intense. Some people even called me a couple of choice words.
My favorite response to my post came from my friend and noted relationship expert, speaker and author, Layne Cutright.
(Layne and her husband are Master Teachers and will be sharing powerful information with us in Module 4 of the Quantum Alignment Program. They’re actually going to be teaching my students about how to create Fifth Dimensional Relationships. Curious? Read more below…)
“Give from your abundance. Some people have an abundance of time, others ~wisdom, other ~ financial resources. We can ask ourselves what do I have of plenty and give that. Look around your life and see what you have a lot of and give it away. It’s very enlivening!”
Her comment is a GREAT lead into the next part of my essay. Not only is living from your Authentic Self vital to maintaining sustainable energy for YOU and the planet, but living from your Authentic Self is crucial to activating your abundance.
The world desperately needs us to be fully activating our abundance.
Let’s look at the Human Design chart to define the word “abundance”. Human Design (a synthesis of Eastern and Western Astrology, the Chinese I’Ching, the Hindu Chakra System, Judaic Kabbalah and Quantum Physics) is a synthesis of many different cultural archetypes. It’s a modern way to look at the different components of the human potential.
The energy for “abundance” is rooted in the Gate 55, which is called the Gate of Abundance in Human Design.
In the Human Design chart, abundance is defined as the emotional frequency of energy that supports your awareness of Spirit as the Source of all there is.
In other words, to become “abundant” you have to have faith that you will be provided for and that FAITH is actually what aligns you with the energy of Abundance.
We create with the energy of the Gate 55 when we feel “good” and when we Trust in Abundance.Abundance is an emotional energy that is connected, ultimately, to the Heart. The Gate of Abundance energetically synchronizes with the magnetic resonance field of your Heart influencing what you attract into your life. The more you carry an abundant vibration, the more your Heart attracts abundance into your life.
The Gate 55 is physiologically associated with digestion and assimilation, the pancreas and emotional eating. We are designed to have and consume/eat “enough”. If we eat too much or we don’t have enough food, it’s unhealthy. We are hard-wired to need just enough to stay satiated.
(If you are not aligned with your abundance or you struggle with faith, it’s also natural to reach for food – especially sugar- to try to fill the emotional void you experience when you feel disconnected from Source.)
To me, the energy of the Gate 55 begs a new definition for what it means to be abundant. I believe that sometimes in the Western World, we define abundance in an extreme and lavish way. The overabundance of energy that it takes to maintain and sustain more than enough material goods is another way that we deplete ourselves and create internal anxiety. (Think about how energizing it feels to clear your clutter and to get rid of things you don’t need.)
If you dive deeper into the Human Design chart, you will see that, not only are we designed to be abundant, but that abundance in the chart is not associated with work. We are abundant because we exist. It’s our natural state when we are living True to Who We Are.
Abundance is sufficiency – having enough – not less than and not more. To create an abundant world, we have to make peace with the idea of sufficiency. Somehow in our experience of abundance, we feel deprived if we don’t have more than enough. Sufficiency has somehow gotten a bad rap, like it’s bad to have “only” enough.
Many ancient texts including the Old Testament teach us about faith and sufficiency. In the Old Testament, the People of Israel escape from slavery in Egypt and are sent to wander in the desert looking for a new place to settle. They are frightened, have no food or water and don’t know what to do.
In response to their worry, God lays out a powerful plan to teach them to trust in sufficiency. God tells the People not to be afraid and that each day they will be given enough food in the form of a special substance called Manna.
God explains to them that they can gather just what they need every day. If they gather more than what they need, the extra will rot. If their neighbor can’t gather their share for some reason, they may gather extra for their neighbor and give it to them. God also tells them that on the sixth day they will be given a double portion so that they can rest.
This story is a powerful metaphor for the Gate 55. If we can live in the vibration of abundance that is described in the story of Manna, then it is easy and natural for us to take what we need and share the rest. We must learn to be gracious and grateful for the sufficiency that we have and to not overcompensate from a place of imaginary lack when we use and share our resources.
Philanthropist and Visionary, Buckminster Fuller, once said that there are enough resources on the planet for 5 billion people to become millionaires. I believe that this is still true – even though there are now more people than that on the planet. We all have the potential to become millionaires and live abundant and thriving lives.
Our problem isn’t that we don’t have enough to go around. Our challenge is learning how to allocate what we have in a way that honors the value of each and every one of us.
We can’t do that unless we believe that we ourselves are worthy of “enough” and we can’t do that if our own personal energy is depleted and we are disconnected from our own awareness and worthiness of being in our natural flow of sufficiency, support and abundance.
It’s part of our hard-wiring and our natural state to have enough for ourselves and to share. We need to remember that part of our True Identity.
In the name of helping you tap into your natural abundance and have the energy to make this world an even better place AND to help the survivors of Hurricane Harvey, I’m creating a brand new Introduction to Human Design program for you that will explain the parts of the charts, their esoteric origins, help you deepen your understanding of your Human Design Type and explain your profile and the nine Centers.
In addition to giving you 13 online video trainings and exercises to help you understand your Human Design chart, I’m also hosting an all-day Human Design chart “read-a-thon”. During this live online event that you can attend from the comfort of your home, I will spend the day sharing new information with you and look at your Human Design charts and give you mini-readings that will deepen your connection to your Life and Soul Purpose. I’ll also answer any Human Design question that you have about anything in your chart.
This is your chance to learn more about yourself, your Life Path, your Human Design and how you can fully activate your potential.
The cost? It’s up to you. I’m offering this program on a donation basis. The suggested donation is $147 but you may pay whatever feels right in your heart.
In addition, all profits from this event will be donated direction to the Houston Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. This is a fund that has been created by the City of Houston and all proceeds go to the people affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for your desire to make the world a better place. Thank you for being YOU! The world is what it is today because you’re in it and I’m grateful to share the planet with you!
From my Heart to Yours,
P.S. A couple of you have asked how much of your donation goes to the City of Houston Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. I am donating my services and paying my staff out of my own pockets so 100% of your contribution goes directly to the Relief Fund.
P.P.S. In my next note I want to share more about how to increase abundance on the planet and why Saturdays on the couch watching Netflix is so important!!
