My awakening began when I was a 32-year-old stay-at-home mom and hit total burnout, which is right on time for a Projector not living their design. It didn’t make sense to me then why I was experiencing sudden panic attacks and crippling fatigue. I began to change my diet, see alternative health practitioners, and started reconnecting with my joy, but I still struggled.

A few years later, Human Design came into my life and showed me exactly why I had hit burnout. I was trying to live my life as a Generator! When I realized that I wasn’t supposed to work so hard and waste so much energy doing the wrong work for me, I began to find more grace for myself.

Human Design gives me something extra to anchor into when the pressures of life feel like I “should” be doing what everyone else is doing and allows me the space to speak my truth easier.

When I found out that my kids are also both Projectors, it gave me insight into their similarities and differences. It helped me better navigate how to best support them as individuals. Even though they are both Projectors, they have very different designs and needs.

It wasn’t long before I began talking to everyone interested in Human Design, sharing charts with parents, and helping them understand their children more deeply. I brought it into my nutrition practice and saw such profound changes in so many areas of life that I continued to dive deeper and deeper into the system.

I enjoy helping parents see their children and support both their children’s needs and their own. I also love helping adults look back at their childhoods through a new lens and see their parents as people who were doing the best that they could. By looking at their charts, we can see the areas where charts are designed to provoke or challenge as well as where they are harmonious. When we can see each other through the lens of Human Design, we have a lot more compassion for one another.
